Welcome to my website! This is the landing page for my blog. You will find my shop page in the menu bar. I invite you to go to my "about" page to find out more about my art and this site. I am still in the process of building and sharing work here so if you are looking for a particular piece of art, hold tight; it's on the way. I am updating almost daily. The House of Mourning

24x18" mixed media on bristol paper I shared this one recently on instagram/facebook, but it needs a spot here the most. "The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth. Ecclesiastes 7:4" I created this one back in February of this year (2026) on my dining room table. i'm very happy to say the original belongs to Ella Webster now. So this one is definitely a "let's see where it goes" piece. I began with a quick doodle of sor

Alone?

36x36" original 24x24" prints available here i created this 36x36" painting for Cole Chaney. I was hanging out in my little camper late at night bc i adopted it as my smaller private studio in the driveway. I work night shift and when everyone's home and in bed, i go out there where i can have good light and sit at the table and create smaller pieces. It's quiet, cozy and I can concentrate. I like the space. Anyway, I had just watched Gu

"Soul Space"

I created this 36x24" painting over a period of a few days. here's what i had in mind when i painted this one: there is a little old country church with a grave yard that is burning in a fire. the woods are on fire all around. the fire has been burning for a while and everything is charred and in embers. you can see the faint image of a cross high above the church. the soul space is to the right where all the souls await in the heavens. in contrast to the burning fire, the so
