"Mycorrhiza"

12x16" mixed media on art board

Inspired and created after learning more about the miraculous networking that lives and communicates beneath us and how it contributes so much more to our world than we are capable of understanding. This piece took on life of it's own after i got started with it. I began by listening to classical piano music and drawing lines and shapes to go along with how the music made me feel in the moment. then i began creating shapes and laying in color using a combination of watercolor and markers. then it was more layers of color and using lines and texture with markers, acrylic paint and oil pastels. I consider this piece a true expression in abstract. I have it shown framed in this photo for size and layout reference. I am selling it unframed in my store.
