getting restarted!

I have (once again) decided to share my artistic journey online. in an effort to get beyond the social media game, i am committing to present my art on this website. but, i want to make it more personal than just an art website where one can view/purchase art. i want to share in the whole experience as an artist who creates: give insight and process notes along with what inspires me to be the artist that i am. be aware that what i am not, is a grammar expert or english major. how i think is how i write/type and as it flows is how it will be given. that's what i consider some of the beauty of any art form: raw and pure and honest. being born and raised in appalachia, i'm sure that flavor will be evident! also, you will see that there are many entries from a few years ago when i began this website. i decided to keep those entries active because they're still relevant. they're a part of me! new work and new entries are incoming. i have many years of visual art, poetry and journal excerpts that i plan to share, along with my most current work, of course. i endeavor to share with you the art as it is happening and i am excited about that! i enjoy painting and creating visually with just about any medium. i write poetry and prose of various subjects and i journal frequently. i plan to share via blogs and photographs (possibly video), but as you well know, photos never do an artwork justice. i will do my best! i am in the process of obtaining copyrights for work that i share, so please, don't be that ugly person who steals others creations because they have no originality themselves. so...thank you to anyone with plans to continue with me. feel free to engage positively and with good intentions. i look forward to what's to come!
