chillin....literally

second covid vacc dose got me. got me good. left work yesterday evening feelin mighty low. headache and chills started about noon. i drove all the way home with heat on full blast, got in a very hot bath when i got here then wrapped in a robe and curled up under extra blankets in bed. i woke up a few times through the night soakin wet in sweat. this morning i felt much better and my headache is gone. still bundled in a blanket and turned my heat up a few extra degrees. lawzy. oh and my arm hurts but not as bad as it did monday & tues. i had the 2nd dose monday morning. jeez. my nurse buddies are having the same experience, some worse than others. i hope it’s worth it! VERY thankful i didnt have to work today.
